Who I am.
I am a composer of principally contemporary classical music, as well as an arranger/orchestrator and sometimes writer on all things culture (Wagner, wrestling, the world etc.).
I studied composition under David Sutton-Anderson and Clement Power at the Royal College of Music’s Junior Department, then with Nigel Osborne, Peter Nelson and Stuart MacRae at the University of Edinburgh. I also have Masters in Musicology from New College, Oxford.
I have collaborated with various ensembles over the years such as the the Fairhaven Singers and the Ligeti Quartet. I also offer tutoring in composition, arranging/orchestration and music theory.
